MY STORY

Alexzandra Wickman grew up on the countryside in the woods of Sweden and at age 15 packed her guitar to follow her dreams. In 2014 she came to Nashville for the first time to seek her sound and feed her songwriting fire. Alexzandra is devoted to country music, ever since she was a child performing bluegrass and country music with her family, learning guitar, banjo, mandolin and piano and finding her love for the craft of songwriting. She has dedicated her life to writing songs and performing them, seeking her own path with her unique and atmospheric sound and her dreamy and wild nature. In 2019 Alexzandra recorded a full production album with Nashville's most renowned studio musicians produced by the multiple ACM Awards winner and 2020 ACM nominee, Mr. Rob McNelley (Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Kip Moore, Trisha Yearwood, Dolly Parton, Lady Antebellum etc.). Sound engineer and mixing on the songs is multiple Grammy nominated Justin Ryan Francis (Kacey Musgraves, Kelsey Waldon, Kree Harrison, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town etc.) McNelley has created a unique and new sound together with Alexzandra, with big ambiences and an atmospheric feeling, with influences from the Rolling Stones, Phil Collins and Dolly Parton, intertwined with a modern country music sound. The tracks and the stories are dreamy, sensual and filled with longing and passion. They are also immersed in unconditional love, adventure and wildwood dreams.
